Technorati Problems...Again.

For some reason, Technorati isn't recognizing this blog. I waited day after day and it was never fixed. I don't know if it a technical problem or if they are penalizing me for running a contest which requires adding this blog to your favorites. I didn't bother sending a support ticket. The last time my blog wasn't updating, I sent several requests for help. They went unanswered. I finally figured out a way to fix it on my own. Now, I don't know what to do. I decided to let it go.

Regardless, I bought the book to give it away. I can'teven see the orignal 29 names that were there, so I decided to extend the contest until next Thursday.

Since this blog is about Getting Out of Debt, I decided to give away some books that can help my readers in their quest to get out of debt, organize their life and create wealth. This week, I'm going to start by giving away a book, but in the future I will include some of my favorite products and services. This is Why I Share How to Make Money Online

This morning, I woke up a little sad and frustrated. My minivan needs repairs. I felt like I was finally getting out of the hole, and then this happens ...again. I always start my weekdays by checking my email, the stats on my sitemeter, technorati and the affiliate network totals.

This morning, I found great news. Someone had submitted this blog to a contest where the prize is $1000.00. This would come in handy at this time. If you read one of the entries below, you'll find that I didn't know who had taken this great action.

A little while ago, I was surfing on mybloglog. I received a message from a blogger known as Merkal. He visits my blog often. He told me he had been the one that submitted my blog. I thanked him and explained what I was going through.

Make Money and Vote for Getting Out of Debt!

Thanks to someone in the blogoshpere, my blog was entered into the
Financial Blog Hunt. This is a contest for finance blogs arranged by DebtCC Community. The community offers $1000 prize money for the Blog Hunt winner. It helps finance blogs get connected with more bloggers, as well as gain popularity in the Blogosphere. The purpose of Blog Hunt is to find good and informative Blogs for the community. They also desire to give recognition to Bloggers for their hard work.

This came at a great time. As most of you know, I'm on a quest to get out of debt. I've found many ways to earn money online, which I always share. I would have paid off my debt, if my car hadn't kept breaking down. On Monday April 30th, my transmission died. My minivan no longer goes in reverse. I have to repair it which means lots of cash. The worst part is that I'm going to have to rent a minivan for the time being. The repair shop I called told me it would be about $2000. The rental of a minivan for the two weeks they paln to take to repair it is an additional $1500-$2000. The final cost of the two will cost me close to $4000.00. That's what I owe on the van! :( Everytime I get close to getting out of the hole of debt, my car breaks down or some other emergency comes up. (The fact that he is behind on the child support payments doesn't help either.) It would be great to win the prize. I could really use it!

Would You Like to Win a Dyson Slim Vacuum?

This morning, I saw a commercial and I laughed. I laughed so hard, I snorted. I think I scared The Little One. The laughter was not just because it was hilarious, but because it was so true. It was an ad for the new Dyson Slim Vacuum. What was so funny? They showed all these women vacuuming. All their vacs were making a rubber ducky sound, while the Dyson Vacuum sounded powerful while in use. It was ingenious on the part of the advertisers. I couldn't get the commerical out of my mind. You know having such a large family, nothing here gets normal wear and tear. Vacuums are practically disposable here. I have one the deck right now (waiting to go to the dump), because the belt broke and we couldn't find a store that carried it. We couldn't even find it online. I have another in the garage. It just died. Three vacs in 12 months. It's a record. The Little One's Dad bought me a carpet sweeper. (Ha-ha)

Anwyay, I was reading a blog: I'm not just a mom...I'm a Home Mom (thanks for the link love). At that blog, I read all about the contest 5 Minutes for Mom is running that is being sponsored by ....Dyson Slim Vacuum!

In case you don't know what contest I'm talking about. TechCrunch's most loathed company PayPerPost.com was running a contest. To enter you had to blog about why you thought you should win a new HP digital camera, printer, paper and memory card. What did I write about? All the stuff that has gone wrong, month after month. I was blatantly honest and now-.........the whole world knows about my soap opera existemce. Well, actually just the small piece of active mybloglog, youtube and payperpost users.
