What Are Your New Year Resolutions?

Last year, I completed 9 of my New Year's resolutions before the end of January. I had to give myself other goals, but as usual unexpected emergencies threw me off my game. Which one did I not complete 100%? Ebay. I'm still intimidated by ebay. I went as far as opening an account, filling out my profile page and saving a draft of a listing. I became overwhelmed after that. Will be trying again tonight. Wish me luck..

What are this year's resolutions?
I have to really sit down and see what I want to accomplish. My sister says I have adult ADD. I lose focus quickly. I also try to complete several tasks at the same time. Sometimes I succeed, other times dinner is a tad bit...overcooked. Ahem. :)

So, while I try to figure out how I will bring all my online activities together harmoniously...I'd like to hear from you.

What are your New Year's resolutions?
Are you going to pay off all your cards, your car or your home? Are you going to exercise and keep a healthy diet to lose some weight? Leave a comment below or write your own post and leave the url in the comment area. I'd like to take a look.

By the way, I'm going into town and will be picking up a little something to give away to a lucky reader. I'll post the details later or tomorrow.

Like your post and your site. Thanks. I used to be as charity-funded free debt adviser and now write about personal finance, etc.

They are of course tongue in cheek (well, mostly ...)

I'll get back to reading more of your site now ... !

Happy 2009.

I love discussing new Years resolutions more into the year to see what can be kept and what cannot :)
My resolution with my finances this year is to make money in any place I can. My favorite I'll pass along here: Banks that pay higher percentage rewards on checking accounts, a lot of my friends use it and have loved it. I found this tool helpful for me on CheckingFinder.com They have a list of banks offering up to 6% in reward checking accounts just to use the debit card, online banking, or use direct deposit.

I’ll pass it on:
