Paying for College

Paying for college can be a complicated process if you don't have the right resources. I had a very difficult time with the financial aid office of my daughter's school. I was so frustrated because there wasn't any help anywhere. It literally felt like trying to walk down an unknown path in the dark. On top of that, I couldn't find anyone that spoke English as their native language. I had to repeat myself over and over again. The email reply from the office didn't use capitalization, proper grammar or punctuation. The spelling was atrocious. I can't believe I received an email of that kind from a college financial aid office!

This infographic is a very helpful guide to the financial aid process. It comes from Southern New Hampshire University. I love that they give you an example of what you can expect to pay if you repay your school loan while you're in school or if you wait until after graduation. There is a considerable savings.
