PayPerPlay: Get Paid for Your Traffic!

There's a new way for bloggers to monetize their blogs. How would you like to get paid for your traffic? The NetAudioAds Group have pre launched their new PayPerPlay advertising program. Usually, I wait until I receive payment before writing about a site, but this time I decided not to wait. Why? The earlier you get into this program, the more money you may make.

What is PayPerPlay?
It is a five second audio commericial that automatically plays when a visitor enters your site. (For a sample of what the ads sound like, follow the link above.)

How does PayPerPlay work?
After registering and being accepted into the program, you receive a java script code that you embed into your blog or site. Everytime someone visits your blog, you make money.

Are there other ways that you can earn through PayPerPlay?
There are three ways that can make money.
1. You earn money for every visitor.
2. You earn residual income from every direct referral's visits.
3. You earn residual income from the next level of referrals too.

How much money can you make from your traffic?
The site says you will be able to keep track of your earnings through the stats page on their site.
Here's the breakdown of the earnings:

25% of what the advertiser spends on PPP ads you serve on your own website(s).

5% of what the advertiser spends on PPP ads played on the website(s) of those you refer.

5% of what the advertiser spends on PPP ads played on the website(s) that your direct referrals bring on board.

What kind of ads will be displayed?
You'll be happy to know, you will never have any hate, pornographic, or subversive ads played.

How do they determine which ads are appropriate to my site?
PPP's technology crwals your content, much like Google's spiders. They will only serve ads that relevant to your blog or site.

PPP will try to serve niche specific ads but if one is not found it will play a general ad that would be appropriate for any niche.

Is this opportunity open to anyone in the world?
PPP states they are open to bloggers and webmasters all over the world!

Ten Ways to Reduce Your Daily Expenses: Part One

The year hasn't ended and most of my Google Search Engine traffic comes from the following keywords: "getting out of debt", "debt reduction", "how to reduce expenses" and "shopping with coupons". That leads me to believe that many, many people not only overspent this holiday season ...they used their credit cards. With that in mind, I decided to write a post that will help readers reduce their monthly expenses. Cutting back on daily expenses that slowly and steadily eat up your money is key to getting a grip on your finances. There is one thing that I find to be the most important thing of all to attack debt reduction. What is that key factor? Being organized.

Let's begin by looking at a few expenses that can add up to significant savings if you take action and really cut back. Remember, organization is key to debt reduction.

Plan your mornings.
1. What does this mean? Get up a little earlier and make your own coffee. There are coffee machines that can be programmedto make coffee at a certain time. All it requires from you is to add the water, coffee and a coffee filter. Even if you have to buy a coffee machine, a $20.00 coffee machine will pay itself back in less than a work week.
2. Car pool if you can. You and your friend/coworker can add considerable savings to your gas budget.
3. Don't buy the paper. Often, it can be found at your job's cafeteria or lounge. Get some coworkers involved in saving money and have a different person buy it everyday. That would mean 5 people read the paper and only pay for it once a work week!
4. Bag your lunch. That's a no brainer. You can also involve coworkers to split a lunch tab. Here's an example: a neighborhood pizzeria has a lunch special of 2 large pies for $19.99. Split that with 5 coworkers ($4.40 each) and you each get several slices and a cheaper lunch tab. Bring your own water or beverage and you're ready!

Plan Your Evenings.
5. Have quick and easy meals planned for the evenings. This eliminates that need to buy takeout. (I'll be sharing some ideas for this in another post).
6. Can you cut back on your cable package? Do you really need over 300 channels? Take a close look at the channels you watch and eliminate the rest. It can save you some money. If you realize that you don't watch any TV, scale to the bare minimum. You can also get PC TV for a considerable savings.
7. How many hours do you spend on the internet? Do you REALLY need to pay for the internet? Can you disconnect it just until you get a handle on your bills? Find hotspots in your town and visit them. Most libraries offer free wi-fi. If you don't use the internet much and really need it, don't pay for it. If you can use your job's internet connection from your personal laptop (without repercussions) do so. (Make sure it's allowed before or after work hours and that your personal information will not be available to anyone!)
8. Unplug all your appliances when they are not in use. Your microwave, cable box, stereo, and computer all use electricity even when they aren't in use. (If you can see the time on display or it has a light on even when it's idle, it's soaking up electricity!) If you don't need to have it plugged in...UNPLUG IT!
9. Get rid of all your excess. ALL the stuff you have in your home is costing you money. If you don't use it, give it away or sell it. You pay rent or a mortgage every month. That means, everything that takes up any room in your home...cost money to keep. Makes you think...huh? If it's broken and you've been waiting for months to fix it and you haven't...chances are you won't. Give it away on freecycle. People will come and pick it up. People will take broken exercise equipment, projection TVs and more. (Make sure to specify what's wrong with it, if it is broken.) It's cheaper than hauling it to the dump (They charge per weight and time means money.) It also helps the environment by keeping it out of the landfills. You can also sell broken ipods, game consoles and more online. I'll be writing a long post about all the sites I've found that pay you cash. 10. Change your entertainment habits to curb your spending. There are many free ways to spend your time. Take a free class, volunteer or go to the library. Take up jogging, running, speedwalking or cycling. You will save money and stay fit!

There are many ways to increase free traffic to your site. Some of them involve traffic exchanges, but not everyone has the time to devote to them. Do You Have Money You Don't Know About?

Several years ago, I came across a site that promised to provide information about unclaimed funds. (Oprah had a segment about this particular site, so we trusted it.) When you performed a search on the site, it came up with pages and pages of results. My coworkers and I decided to pay the fee for full access. Once we paid, the results were different. Hhmm, apparently the results before you paid the fee included everyone with the same last name...across the US. One of my coworkers found money that belonged to her brother, so she gave him the info. I'm glad that it worked out for them. I got to thinking. Since I know you can find almost any information on the net for free.... I decided to do some research. Here were my results.

In the US, every state has a comptroller. The comptroller's department is responsible for uncliamed funds. Each state has a website that contains the site for the comptroller. On the comptroller's site you can perform a search with your information and get immediate results.

What are unclaimed funds?
Unclaimed funds consist of tax refund checks, abandoned bank accounts, insurance payouts, utility deposits and other forms of funds that have not been claimed. How does this happen? Sometimes when people move, checks are delivered to the old address and never forwarded to the new one. Bank accounts could have been opened for you by an adult without your knowledge. You may have moved and never received your utility deposit refund. These are just a few examples.

How can you receive your unclaimed funds?
If the site says you have unclaimed funds, you will be asked to download a form. Fill out the form and follow the instructions.

Several months ago, I was bored and visited the site. I decided to enter the names of my family and friends. What did I find? Getting paid to blog is a great way to make money online. It's convenient for a mom like me and the money isn't bad either! The only problem is that I can't always devote the time I want to blogging. Running a home with 7 kids (6 at home) and 7 pets combined with house work, errands and other household duties is time consuming. This is why I'm always looking for ways to create passive income. Here's a great way for any blogger to earn some extra money, just by referring others to paid blogging sites. Other paid blogging sites offer affilitae programs too. What makes these different? These two sites offer residual income, not one time payments. That makes a huge difference!

Smorty is a site that pays bloggers to write reviews about products and services. I've blogged for them and received prompt payment. Today I found that Smorty has introduced an affiliate program.

How does Smorty's affiliate program work?
Smorty has provided text links and banners that you can place on your site. When a blogger joins through your referral link, you earn 5% of whatever they earn (as long as their posts are accepted). That amount of money can grow very quickly, by just referring many bloggers. The site states payments will be made with your regular payments on Fridays. They process payments through paypal.





SponsoredReviews.com is another site that has paid me for reviews. They are different from the other sites in one huge way. You place a bid to the advertiser and they accept or reject your bid. They now have an affiliate program that pays you for every advertiser and blogger that joins through your referral link.

ProjectPayDay is a site that provides a step by step guide to making money from IFW (Incentivized Freebie Websites). Being experineced at gpts (get paid to sites), I can tell you that these sites really do work. IFWs work exactly like FusionCash and CashCrate, the difference is that you receive the reward of your choice instead of cash.

What is the purpose of ProjectPayDay.com?
ProjectPayDay.com has created a large directory of tutorials that teach you how to use IFW users seeking referrals to make quick money. On their site, they provide videos and other materials that can help you succeed in advertising any of your favorite programs.

How do you make money with ProjectPayDay?
You actually get paid by members that are looking for referrals to complete offers, so that they can receive their reward (plasma TV's, computers, Wiis, ipods and other popular electronics). It all takes place within a forum that is monitored and the members are rated in a system similar to ebay. (Always remember, we live in an imperfect world, but the feedback system is a great way to spot the honest pros.) ProjectPayDay offers a referral program that I've been involved in. I'm happy to report...they paid promptly by paypal. You need to reach the payout of $20.00. Once you reach the minimum, they pay on the following Friday by paypal.

I haven't participated in the the IFWs because I'm involved with several gpts. Some of them require you to sign up for offers before cashing out. I try to conserve the sponsor offers for cashouts. LinkWorth.com: Get Paid for Links, Posts and More!

Linkworth is a site that brings advertisers and webmasters/bloggers together. They offer services similar to text-link-ads.com and payperpost.com in one marketplace. I signed up and sold 3 links in 24 hours which totaled $120.00. When you find a site like this, it helps to sign up ASAP. The heavy hitters tend to get most of the action, so the sooner you sign up....the better chance you have to sell a link or post.

How does LinkWorth.com work?
1. You register with the site.
2. You submit your blog or site.
3. You enter the type of ads you are selling.
4. Once you are approved, your link will go live in their advertiser's directory.

What services are available to advertisers using Linkworth?
1. You can sell text links.
2. You can choose to sell rotating link ads.
3. You can have in text contextual ads on your site similar to Kontera and Adbrite in text links.
4. You can sell billboard ads on your blog's/site's VRE.
5. You can sell reviews.
6. My personal favorite is the linkpack. This is when you sell links on multiple sites for a package price. I just finished filling out the forms to take advantage of this opportunity. With a network of 24 blogs, sites and Squidoo lenses, this is a great way to make quick money and be able to blog about what I want.
7. Be sure to choose what type of partner you want to be! You can either be a basic which gets a 70/30 split or be a preferred with a 50/50 split. The difference between the two is that preferred partners get first consideration of ads by the LinkWorth staff. As a preferred partner, your listing in the directory is displayed in a different manner to make your site stand out. Another benefit is that you get a 15% discount on all featured upgrades.

Did I upgrade to a preferred partner?
I didn't upgrade to a preferred partner, but managed to sell three links anyway. I believe the reason for this is the topic of this blog and the page rank. Since then, I've added several other blogs and sites and haven't had any luck with them yet.

How does LinkWorth pay bloggers?
1. It's important that you know they pro rate their payments. This means that if an advertiser pays for a link during the middle of the month and your share is $20.00, you will receive $10.00 for the remainder of the month not the full amount.
2. Payments are made on the 10th of the following month. I chose to have my payments made through paypal. You must reach the payout amount of $25.00 to receive payment with this method.
3. Direct deposit is also an option for those with US bank accounts, but you must have a payout amount of $100.00.
4. You can also receive a check. The minimum payout is $100.00.
5. Bank to bank wires are available for those outside the US for a $20.00 fee. The minimum payout is also $100.00.

Is LinkWorth legit or a scam?
This month I received my first payment and have reached the payout for next month. This is definitely a legitimate site and I look forward to working with them for a long time. I have created a linkpack of 22 sites for a great price. There will only be 10 links available for sale on each of the blogs. If I manage to sell all of these ads, it will pay for my monthly expenses. (You know how it is with my life, he's backed up on the child support ........ again. Google's e-war has greatly impacted my ability to generate income, but it's not over. Their actions may have destroyed Christmas gifts, but we're still grateful for the important things like: health, food and shelter.)
